These carob brownies are delicious! They're great for people who can't (or don't) eat chocolate. Carob is completely caffeine free! While this doesn't taste exactly like chocolate, it does have a similar taste. This is also great for vegans, since it contains no dairy.

There are a lot of things people who don't eat dairy can't have. One of those things is buttercream frosting. Buttercream frosting is the most commonly used frosting to cover cakes with. I realized not too long ago that I could easily make this frosting dairy free. Way to go!

Recently, I did an article on Why Food Coloring is a "No, No" and I decided what better way than to write an article on how to make natural food coloring! After all, it's a lot cheaper than the natural kind you buy in the store. Depending on the shade you want, it could work just as good, too.

We all know that artificial food coloring makes food look more fun and inviting, but will using it cost us our health? Food coloring is used in everything from candy to dog food! What I don't get is that products that say they're "natural" sometimes contain food coloring (watch out for companies that call themselves natural, they may not be what you think they are). Peppermint patties are probably my all time favorite candy! They're so good! Only last Christmas did I learn how to make them. But, thing is, I'm not able to use the same recipe since it calls for condensed milk. Thankfully, I found a great peppermint pattie recipes. I have made this recipes sugar free, also (unless you add chocolate chips, which I did not do ). So in all, this recipe is sugar free, dairy free and gluten free (gluten free if you use chocolate chips). At, first I thought I wouldn't be able to enjoy my favorite treat!

I've started to get really oily hair...and didn't know how to get rid of it. I thought I was brushing my hair too often, so I tried to lay off a little bit with the hair brush (not that I walked around with messy hair). I also tried a shampoo for oily hair. That helped a little bit. But, I noticed my hair was to flat and oily. It wasn't until my hairdresser gave me the best hair tip I could probably ever receive! Because, now my hair is no longer greasy! I've had people give me compliments on how soft my hair is. I love the feel of my hair, now! I hope they help you as much as they did me!
