My favorite popcorn ever has to be kettle corn! I love the taste of it..with just a little bit of sugar on top. It makes a a fantastic snack, too. The only problem is that I can't stop eating it! Not only is this a salt free snack but low fat too. And, did you know that studies have shown that popcorn may even help fight diseases! Just had to throw a little benefit in, too!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of coconut oil
1/4 cup of organic sugar
1/2 cup of organic popcorn seeds
In a sauce pan on medium heat, add your coconut oil and popcorn. Once the you hear one or two starting to pop, add your sugar. Shake the saucepan every few seconds to keep the popcorn from sticking together. Once popping has stopped, remove sauce pan from heat and pour popcorn into a large bowl and let cool. To store, put in an airtight bag. Will keep for about 4-5 days.
